The pattern is relatively simple. It will make wonderful thick mittens, that can take on the wind and snow and still keep the little hands warm. I made the cuff extra long, so the snow and wind that get into the sleeves will not bother little hands. The mittens are made in superwash worsted weight wool, they knit up pretty fast. I was able to finish a pair a day and still have a life.
