This spiral-knit hat combines wonderful texture, warmth and flexibility. Because it is very stretchy it fits any size head and will not flatten a fancy hairdo. The pattern is very easy to remember, but not boring, I loved seeing the spiral develop. It will work best in solid or tweed yarn. Because you will need just one ball of yarn it is a perfect take along knitting project. It took me less than a day to knit this hat, so it makes a very nice “in the hurry gift” for someone special. This hat can be knit in a luxury fiber like cashmere, nice crisp wool or serviceable acrylic. It would look very nice on both man and woman.
