Each one of us has our way of coping with difficult times, mine is yarn. No, not like that, what I meant to say was YARN.
So when the going gets tough, tough goes yarning!
This week I have been entertaining myself with my yarn collection.
I told myself that I had to organized, so I pulled out all the accidentally accumulated yarn from the dedicated shelf. There was much more yarn there than I thought!
Then I added to the pile the new yarn DD #1 brought me from New York! Thank you Tamar for keeping it for me and (even more important) stuffing it into DD’s suitcase.
I spend two days happily cataloging the yarn and would have taken even more time, but DH objected to sharing his bed with all that yarn.
Anyway, I have already told you about my finishing marathon
Well, just to balance it out I had a starting binge.
In two days I started:
The Warmest Rainbow Blanket
I am using my old faithful pattern Rectangles are us.
Orange Sweater I am still not sure how it will look when it grows up.
Another sweater for DD #5, here I more or less know what I want to do. More or less…
This morning I finally started writing a pattern for “Joyful!” shawl. And decided that I needed to refresh my memory. So I started another small shawl with gorgeous Yak yarn DD 1 delivered to me from NY.
Projects number five and six are being planed.
