I have decided to cave into the temptation to share our wedding photos with you.
Since I have not blogged for such a long time, and even when I did, I have not posted many family photos, this will probably give you a chance to see how my family grew in the last few years.
The happy couple.
The Ladies of our family. Starting with my amazing MIL to my wonderful DD #5. DS #4 simply decided that he wants to be in.
While DH and DS #1 went to the rabbi’s study to sign marriage documents I had a moment to have my picture taken with the rest of my kids. We were even able to catch the boys who were much too busy for photos “helping” musicians to set up.
Taking a short rest with DD #1.
With DS #1.
My Little (and not so little) Ladies.
The proceedings started with a plate being broken by two almost MIL!
Now bedeken. Groom, led by both fathers is coming to cover the bride’s face with a veil.
When DS #1 was about 6 years old and DD #1 was 4 their babysitter was getting married. Of course, my kids were invited. DD asked DS why is groom being held by two people. DS said, “Well, that is easy to see, they hold him so he will not run away”.
Under the Chuppa
Our now extended family.
Two very happy, very tired parents.
And there was lots of dancing
My youngest children.
A few days later.
I want to show off special accessories made by my friend Dvora. She made them from ribbon, bits of fabric, leftover from dresses and Swarovski beads. All the Ladies dresses in our wedding party were sewn by another friend Chaya, who miraculously managed to make 3 little girls dresses and 3 adult dresses in a little over a week. Myne and DD #1 dresses were actually finished on the morning of the wedding day. My friend Tamar planned my dress over the phone from NY!
