I have finished the green dress. It is really good. And looks like the baby likes it too. I am very proud of myself not only for designing and knitting a really good dress but also for writing out a pattern. It is a line by line, “idiot proof” format that even tells you how many stitches there are at the end of each row. This pattern will also work wonderfully for sizing up with thicker yarn on thicker needles. This size is 2-3T and was made with fingering yarn on size 2 needles. The yarn is Patons, Grace – it is 100% Mercerized Cotton.
Why am I telling you all this instead of simply posting it? Because this will be my first for sale pattern. It will be available in about a week and a half when we come home from Maryland. I have put little tulips on the border, because they are my favorite flowers. Now the only thing missing is the name. I have been deliberating between “The spring thing” and “Tulips on my hem”. What do you think? I would really like your opinion.
