Anyone who has ever visited my apartment can have no doubts. I am nuts about fiber. It is everywhere. Well practically everywhere. There is none in the bathroom – otherwise I might never come out of there. The kids bedroom used to be a fiber free room too. But no more. While I do not risk keeping my yarn there, DD #1 is getting serious about her stash and DS #1 is working on his newer ending hat. It is newer en
I did it! I have finally got my notes together and finished writing out a new pattern for this cute cabled hat. I am calling this one “Love Knots”. I have never really played with cables before. So much fun! Now I will do it more often. The only thing to remember is that cables make everything pull in. A lot! The first version of this hat came out like a broomstick cosy.Well, now it is done, done, done!..

Some of the markers are already available on sale on Etsy. The rest
Last week I wrote that I have to finish four projects before I can start playing with my new yarn from Yarnerian. Well, I tried, but things have got away from me. So, here is what have been finished so far: Accidental Skirt, all done. I love it. Will make another one very soon, DD#3 had a growth spurt and it is a bit tight on her. By the way, DD#2 wants one too, so does DD#1, but I am hoping to get her to knit it for
OK, I have some news. Finally, after much effort my first pattern for sale is done! Frankly, I do not know if I should be happy or scared senseless. I told my DH last night it is a little like putting a price tag on one of my kids (not that I have never considered “Free to good home” sign). Anyway the pattern for the toddler dress formally known as “Tulips on my Hem” is on sale through ETSY
