I do not know about anyone else, but I have been affected with a really bad case of “Startitis”. I have a few projects that have been lingering for a while. They definitely need to get done. But for one reason or another I have been pushing them off. And then there is my Vest, I think the fronts WILL have to be reworked again… A bit.
Also in the process of stash inventory a few forgotten projects came to light. So, totally by accident, absolutely involuntarily I have started up a few things in the last week.
First of all, I have pulled out my spinning wheel – I need to spin one more bobbin of cream colored rowing, so I can ply it with gray. I already have 2 greys and one white.
I have also finally started a hat for the IDF soldiers, that is my “carry everywhere with me” project.
And then I have cast on for a summer dress for my youngest. I usually do not like knitting or crocheting with cotton, but this yarn has been behaving very well.
After I did this the weather got cold, and I started having woolly thoughts, so I will admit to starting another dress for the same child. It is in Duet, from Wisdom Yarns.
I think it might become my personal favorite for now. I have actually been hinting (more like openly telling my DH that I want to get enough to make a Tyrolean Jacket, by Mary Rich Goodwin for myself).
And while I am confessing, I might as well admit that I have started a swatch for “Caravan Socks” that I am designing.
Then there is another felted bag, but that was necessary. The PTA meeting that I had to go to was so tense, that I had to knit something mindless.
I have also started to crochet a pair of cotton (spring again) booties for my new niece.
And a holder for plastic bags have been riped out and restarted.
That is it. I do not have time to write anymore. Have to go and knit.
