This is going to be an interesting week. As an “interesting”.
So far I am expecting the cleaning people (who are supposed to get me all ready for Pesach) tomorrow, then on Tuesday my DH has an affirmation ceremony for his citizenship. The kids’ vacation starts on Thursday. Since we do not feet in one car anymore all my shopping will have to get done on Wednesday. Oh, and DS#1 is suspended from school, so he is moping around the house.
Meanwhile I have started my week with a bang. In an almost unprecedented effort I got myself and the kids out of the house this morning and made it to my friend Tamar. I needed to finish my Purple Dress. Now I can report – it is done. Mind you, if it would not be for Tamar instead of nice buttons, that go down the front, it would probably have Duct Tape. I do not think it would have looked as good as it does now, at least without me in it.
So, now I can cross one item off my list. I have a new dress for Birkat Hachama.
By the way if you are in the mood for something funny, here is a piece of nostalgia. As they say, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
