Life is rushing past me. We just got to Philly and now it is time to pack up and get back to our regularly scheduled lives.
We will all miss being here. OK,OK, my DH probably will not miss the every week commute but other than that…
Yesterday my Niece has celebrated 8Th birthday. My DD#1 and DD#2 presented her with the jewelry of their own making. I am so happy that when the gift for somebody is needed the first thing that comes into their heads is “What can I make?”
DD #1 is getting serious about beading, and yes, wire twisting, to the detriment of knitting and crochet. DD #2 is learning how to crochet. She made so far the longest jump-rope any seven year-old might need. I think she might be ready for more next week.
DS #1 is back from camp and with us now. I think he is taller. He saw DS #2 working on his loom, making a hat, and decided that he wants one too, so now they are both looming.
I have finished one more baby hat. This time I was experimenting with cables. What do you think?
For the past two days DH has been taking pictures of all the new markers I have made in the past few weeks. I have to admit it was a huge job. This time around besides knitting markers, I made a few sets of crochet ones too. I hope to list all of the new ones in my Etsy store by the beginning of September.
By the way, the marker sale that I am running in my Etsy shop is over on September 1st. I am giving away this beautiful set of 5 knitting markers free with any purchase of $15.00 or more.
