Today has rained practically all day. Buckets and buckets of water fell from the sky. A perfect day to stay home? Not so…
We went out with two younger kids and walked, walked, walked for hours.
We had to run some errands, but the air was so fresh, the greenery so lush, the view so perfect (yes in the rain) that we decided not to take a bus, but walk.
At some point we split up and I stumbled into a bakery full of wonderfully intoxicating smells. All I can say about it – is that it is deadly for any diet. It was really hard to deside what not to buy!
Of course, we left it loaded with lots of goodies. Then DH treated me to the local pizza. I am not sure it is very authentic, but it was absolutely delicious, so who cares! After walking up and down the hills we got home just in time to greet our kids, who came home from school. All in all a wonderful day.
I have finished a Raglan Shawl for DD #2. I will show it to her tomorrow when she wakes up. This was my first “In Israel Project”. It literally flew off my needles, and now I have one more in progress for DD #1.
