In just a few hours DH will take DS#1 to the airport. Hard to believe that the month is over. Probably because my Son kept zooming by us, always on the way somewhere.
Well today we arranged for a baby sitter and took DS out to dinner.
We, DH and I, wanted to have a “talk”. I am not sure we were successful. We did find out that the food is good, and that he sometimes even eats it. I was also happy to hear that he still plays his flute. After all I survived the “basic flute training” and do not want him to loose his skills. I am not young enough to live through that again.
He likes his classes and his teachers. DS summed up the whole thing by saying “We learn, we eat, we sleep – what is not to like?”
Today I have finally pulled out his unfinished vest. It was supposed to be long enough to divide for underarms. Guess what – the kid grew! Now there are three more pattern repeats to go until the division. Have to get it done before he grows some more and I run out of yarn..
