I have been wondering what would happen if I turned the Noro Hat bottoms-up. I also wanted to play with some very basic solid yarn and unusual construction. Here is the result – my Wedgwood Hat – I love the blue and white of Wedgwood china.
This hat has also been inspired by a statement from one of my friends, who said that compering to crochet – knitting is “rigid” you can not just pick a place and add on a piece like in crochet. It will not work. Well… maybe sometimes it does.
Now I just have to make myself go through the chicken scratches I call notes and write out a pattern.
