Thank G-d the fast is over and life resumes as normal. Or at least as something that passes for normality around here.
And magically my thirst for knitting is back.
And I am knitting furiously, trying to finish up a few projects that were at the “almost done” way too long.
I have to hurry up if I want DH to take the pictures. He and DS #1 are leaving for Israel in about two short weeks! DH will deliver DS #1 into his mesivta (high school) and stay in Israel for about a month just to be on hand in case of emergency or severe home sickness. He will also look into places to live, and jobs to be had. All I can say that I “have high hopes” and praying for his success. I will miss my baby (yes he is still my baby), but we have to do what is best for him.
This means a final deadline on the vest is near – got to start working on it again. The brake from it definitely helped, I am not repulsed by it any longer. It actually looks very nice. I am doing one repeat on it and then work on baby hats for a bit.
Life is good, when knitting loves me.
