Happy Mother’s Day to all Moms!
I am feeling very accomplished right at this moment.
First of all finally, after what seems like weeks and weeks without anything finished I got two FOs!
My Son’s Manly Twist Socks are done, and, what is more important, he did not grow out of them yet!!! With ever growing teenager this not a small accomplishment.
My second FO is all mine! At least so far…
My new “Double Joy” shawl.
I even took it with me this morning when I and a couple of friends went to Tveria this morning. I was hoping it would be cool enough to wear it there. It was not. But I wore it anyway. And got a few admiring glances.
My second major accomplishment is not all mine. It belongs to DH in at least equal part.
This past Friday we finally sat down and finished the editing of my Twisted Socks Pattern. Then DH converted it into PDF file. I am so happy that we got it ready in time for Mother’s Day!
This is my first published pattern in over a year! I got few more in the half-done stage. I hope that I will be able to finish them soon.
Now I just got to get DH to take photos of all the new stitch markers I designed right before Passover!
Then I will be one happy chicken.
There is only one cloud on my horizon today. This is the one and only day in a year, when I wish I would be in US. Actually I wish I would be at the Maryland Sheep and Wool festival. I wish, I wish, I wish…
Oh well, maybe next year. For this year the Tel Aviv knitting Meetup will do.
