It actually feels like Spring today. Also I heard that more snow is coming on Sunday and Monday. I hope not. I decided that I will not believe it, until I see it. I have actually seen green shoots of tulips and daffodils pocking out of the ground.
But I am yearning for real flowers. And I do not want a bucket, I want to see them blooming in the garden. I know, I know, it is a funny craving. But Hey, I am entitled for another couple of weeks.
But since there are no real Daffodils available yet, I keep coming up with the substitutes.
First were my Daffodil Socks.
I made them from the Toe-Up, because I was worried about running out of yarn. In the end I had plenty. These socks are the longest I made for myself. They are nice and stretchy. The pattern will be published as soon as I get my brain back.
Another one of my “Daffodil Substitutes” is this set of stitch markers.
I think they are very pretty.
I am also working on the tiny “Daffodil Hat”, but so far I have only got the brim figured out.
Will see how it goes.
