I thought that I would be able to blog every day as we get ready for our move to Israel. After all, this is something I wanted to do for the past 4 years. Not so. We get so tired and so busy that some days I don’t even make it to the computer. Finally, I had to let you know what’s happening. The shippers are coming tomorrow to pack up our things, that will go by sea. I wish I could wake up the day after.
Our flight is scheduled for Wednesday night. And we should be landing in Israel, G-d willing, Thursday afternoon.
We have rented a charming apartment in Migdal HaEmek, in the north part of Israel between Haifa and Tiberia. We “met” a few people from there through phone and Internet. They are very nice and friendly.
We are looking forward toward our first Shabbos in Israel. We are probably going to be off the Internet for the next week. Until then, we wish you all the best.
A few of you have contacted me with your concerns about the disturbances in Egypt. All I can do is to quote an Israeli poster from Facebook: “Dear Egyptian rebels, please, be careful with the pyramids! We will not rebuild.”
