I am trying to figure out which one of us (me or DD #3) has a hat “issue”. OK, let me speak plainly we are both addicted to hats. I – to knitting and crocheting them, she – to wearing them, sometimes two at the time when it is hard to choose.
I have finally got myself together and finished a Toddler Blossom Hat. It lingered, while all I needed to add was the last round. And then, of course, take pictures. That was not easy, because DD #3 has discovered an aversion to camera and it actually took four of us to get the pictures done. DH, whelding a camera, DD #1 – the beautician and cheerleader madly chanting “Smile”, me, waiving a candy in one hand and a baby (as usual) in another. DD #3, just smiled (we are not talking yet), not facing the camera and we could see that she really enjoyed being the center of attention. Nothing worked until I asked her if she wanted to get any more hats. She thought about it and nodded. Then I told her that if she wants a new hat, she would have to do, what Dad is telling her.
It worked right away!
