I have neglected my poor blog for a whole 10 days! But this time it was not all my fault! DH decided to upgrade the Internet company, as a result we were without an Internet for a week and were weary happy to be reconnected to the old company.
OK, excuses made…
This past week has been really, really hectic. I mean every week is hectic in my Zoo, but this one was really special. Today we will have a big Purim meal together with two other families, our very close friends. All together between six adults there will be 19 kids ages between 3 months (very cute twin girls) and 14 years – older kids, five of them, might drop by but they are busy doing their own things, going to their own Purim Parties and helping out Rabbis in small towns. DD #1 has taken my three Younger girls to the hospital of nearby town of Afula to entertain the patients there. All I can say is that I hope the sick people are strong enough for this entertainment!
Meanwhile DD #2 and my two younger boys have gone to hear the Megila at the nearby rehabilitation center.
This made life so much easier for me. I have made three cakes (one of them chocolate), got the dough ready to make challos!
I even had a few minutes to sit down, write this post and knit a couple of rounds on DH’s new sock.
He is one of the few husbands in this World, who gets new socks not because he heeds them or wants them but because his wife needs to test the pattern she is working on, LOL!
This is also a Twisted Sock, the pattern has been written and almost ready to publish, I am now knitting this sock using it to make sure that there are no mistakes there.
And now I run out of time! Got to get dressed and run off to hear Megilas Ester.
Happy Purim to all!
