I know, I know I am way behind with this post. Tonight will be the Fifth Light – the fifth day of Chanukah. But better late than after – right?!
So far this year we are having a very nice time. On Sunday a friend of mine took my three middle kids to the Jewish Children’s Museum for the Chanukah program. My oldest son asked permission to treat his sister to pizza and drink at the local pizza shop. So almost all the kids were out of the house for almost three hours. Oh… the bliss! I just put DD#3 to sleep, and was asleep myself before my head hit the pillow.
Vacations are not easy for Mommies, it is nice to have the kids home and it is fun to be with them, but it gets very tiring too.
With my website done – we are only doing some minor tweaking now, I have a lot more time to knit. And I better work fast – it is really getting cold and kids need hats – still 3 to go, and mittens – 5 and a half pairs left.
Here is a hat I have almost finished for DS#3:
My goal for today is to finally make latkes – the potatoes has been peeled already and to finish this hat.
Will see what I will be able to accomplish.
