There I was, having a pretty difficult Friday. Running around, cooking and trying to do a gazillion things at the same time. Pots were boiling over! Kids, so helpfully home on vacation, demanding food every time I turned around. Hobby was, inquiring if I was ready to work on my knitting pattern with him.
As I was getting ready for “No one appreciates me” tirade, a neighbor called me. Thinking that someone wanted something else from me I was totally surprised when she told me – “Your Suitcase is here, can someone come to pick it up?”. My suitcase?! It took me a moment to understand that she meant My Suitcase! The one, our friends brought with them from the US! The one that was supposed to be picked up by us from Tzfat (who knows how, who knows when).
What was in the suitcase?
Books! A lot of books! A ton of books! Knitting books! Breastfeeding books! Spinning, beading and crocheting books! Oh, and some books for DH, that were left behind by accident.
Also the tea I love and can not get here.
I am rationing it a package a day to extend the pleasure.
A birthday card for DD #2.
And a purple and pink sheep. My friend Tamar made her, yes, I decided that it is a girl sheep! I love her! She lives by my bed and even my toddler knows – it is Mommy’s Sheep.
All in all not a suitcase, but a Super Case!
