A while ago, after an extensive Etsy browsing session, DH asked me why most of my knitting and crochet projects are monochrome. I protested. Vigorously! Ha, I use color all the time. But later on, to myself, I had to admit, that he was right. I usually stick to one or two colors or a nice self striping yarn. Why? Two reasons:
One – I really, really dislike weaving in the ends. I admit – this is one of the least favorite jobs. So I avoid it by not using a lot of different yarns.
Two – I am still timid about using a lot of different colors and mixing them up as I see fit. After all the variegated and self striping yarns come already “pre-mixed”.
So I have decided to tackle both these dragons and show my DH that I can “do color” too. That is why I got this lot of colorful cotton yarn from “The Yarn Gourmet Shop”. He-he-he – do not mess with yarn junkies – we can use any reason as an excuse to acquiring yarn.
So now I decided to start my Super Secret Crochet Project – SSCP, of many colors. Keep following my blog for more updates.
