It is that time of the year. While most Jewish mothers are worrying about Pesach, I am quaking in my sleepers at the thought of making the costumes for Purim. Just an enormity of outfitting 5 kids (thankfully the baby could not care less) gets me down. The funny thing is, usually despite my worries the kids manage quite well all by themselves. This year the theme is clowns. And my 11 year old son oh, so casually mentioned that he would like me to knit 4 clown hats. One of the kids is not willing to be a clown. At this point I do not know which one, they keep changing their mind. And did I mention it? They all must be different.
I have bravely dug into my stash and came up with 4 balls of extremely bright yarn.
I have started on the hats. So far one and a half are done. I have about 3 more knitting days left. I better get to it.
