My DD #1, who is almost 17 has decided that my life was too dull and my days were too empty. Therefore, being a good daughter that she is, she took steps to fix this problem.
She brought home “an animal” – at least this is how DH refers to our new addition.
A 4 months old apricot angora bunny. And then let me name him. So you know what it means right?
I named it so I am keeping it.
With almost 20 years of parenting experience I really should be wiser by now…
Well it is very cute, and fluffy, and his color is simply gorgeous.
Of course the main selling point was you can make so much yarn from him. This kid knows me so well.
And I have to admit. I like him. So far he is the perfect pet. He stays in the cage (that is cleaned by DD), eats veggies and does not talk. With 8 kids in the house I really love the fact that he does not bark, screech, meow, chirp or yell.
And yes, the perspective of the future yarn is so attractive. I love angora.
At the same time I am very happy that Gingy Bunny (Gingy means a redhead in Hebrew) is a boy.
So no danger of more future bunnies.
