A few days ago DD #1, from the height of her 14 year old experience, asked me how I could stand to lead such a boring life.
Bored? Who? Me?
I do not think so!
The baby has been teething for the past few days. This means she has stuck to me like a Velcro monkey.
Meanwhile I tried to keep up with feeding the ravening hordes, doing laundry and trying to remember the multiplication tables. The last proved impossible.
I also tried to write up the notes on a few finished projects. Knit something more challenging than a carter stitch blanket and work up some future designs.
Then I decided that what I really needed and wanted was a bit of conversation with like minded fiber addicts. So off to Ravelry I went. I needed an advice and reality check. Well, I got them both. By the bucketful!
The upside of that adventure was that my Amazing Siberian Slippers made the top 10 “hot right now” Ravelry patterns, and stayed there for more than two days!
And a few people decided that they needed a seamless slipper pattern and bought it too!
So hooray for me and my slippers!
Meanwhile I have finished knitting another pair of “Bottom Line” pants.
Remembering my experience with a too small sundress I made the legs extra long.
And I have a semi FO too! The first sock of the Lavender Coffee Socks is now done! I have started the second sock too!
So, who has the time to be bored?
