I think I might be turning into a bear. No, I have not developed a sudden craving for honey. Instead I think I am trying to hibernate. I keep falling asleep. I fall asleep at the oddest times of the day, in oddest places. I have actually fallen asleep today in my rocking chair in front of my computer.
I truly have difficulty staying awake, it is so easy to give in to the impulse.
In between my naps I am knitting as fast and as much as I can. It seems that I do not have energy for much else anyway.
Not all of it was “productive knitting”, I have re-knit the mitten for DS #1 more than five times. First, I did not like the thumb hole. It just was not tidy enough. I have finally decided to go with knitting the “hole” stitches with waste yarn and then opening up the stitches and making the thumb from there. It is now as perfect as it will ever be. Then, the upper part of the mitten was too loose on the skinny hand my Son has. So now I have ripped that part out again and will try ribbing. Will see how it works out.
