Yesterday – Purim – was really, really nice. The kids got dressed up and had so much fun, and I loved watching them. I do not do costumes well. I am not creative that way, so they were on their own. All the ideas belongs to them.
My oldest son dressed up as our friend, an old lady, he looked really cute with an apron and a little shopping cart in tow.
DD# 1 decided to become a candy dispenser.
DD# 2 was a Chinese lady.
DS#2 and DS#3 were policeman.
I asked DS#2, why he wants to be a policeman. He explained that policeman make sure that people obey rules and do not do wrong things. So, he is making sure, that he will only do good things, and will try to stop himself from doing something wrong. This makes him a policeman too. This little guy is only 6 years old. I love the way his mind works.
We gave out and received lots of gift packages and kids will probably have a sugar hangover for a few more days.
Then we walked, yes I walked too, to our friends for a wonderful Purim meal. When we got home I could not believe it was this late.
Now I have go and eat another piece of chocolate and finish up my Daffodil Sock. Only 3 more rounds to go.
