I am, definitely having tons of it! So many new wonderful things today.
First of all, the kids are back to school, so we, adults, had a relatively lazy morning. For the first time in a few weeks I got to go back to bed and have a morning nap. It felt so good! I wish you all the same.
Then my first daily installment in the laundry war. Our washing/drying machine is relatively small. So it is always a straggle to catch up with the mountain of laundry my family generates.
After hanging out my “morning catch” I decided to check on the garlic I planted about two weeks ago. I still do not have any garden implements and just dug the ground with my hands and shoved the cloves in. Since then I have been checking practically every day, but nothing was happening. Today – a wonderful surprise – 18 healthy stalks, some of them a few inches long!
And I think we got a first flower on our Lemon tree. We have to harvest the ripe lemons as soon as possible. I decided not to look closer because we want to be able to say a blessing on flowers and there is a question if it can be done until the month of Nissan – next month of the Jewish calendar.
