Last week I wrote that I have to finish four projects before I can start playing with my new yarn from Yarnerian. Well, I tried, but things have got away from me. So, here is what have been finished so far:
Accidental Skirt, all done. I love it. Will make another one very soon, DD#3 had a growth spurt and it is a bit tight on her. By the way, DD#2 wants one too, so does DD#1, but I am hoping to get her to knit it for herself.
The crochet Flower Power hat is also finished. The pattern has been written out in sizes 2, 4 and 6. DH will finish the PDF this week and hopefully it will go on sale by next Wednesday. I love this hat. It is very Summery, will not be too hot for the kid and will give the Grandma the reassurance, that yes, the child is wearing the hat. It is easy and fast to make. Even a beginner can handle it.
The Summer Socks for DD#1 are finished. It was ludicrous! They were basically all done and then it took me two weeks to close up the remaining toe. They have been finally photographed, which was an adventure in itself, but they look very good to me. I love the pattern. It is a semi-automatic knitting, easy to remember, but not boring at all. To my surprise I discovered that Rivka’s feet are almost as long as mine. Help! She is only 10! Should she be growing up so fast? I am working on editing this pattern right now.
I have also finished my second soldier’s’ hat. And right away started the third. This is my obligatory take out knitting. If I go out, before I knit or crochet anything else, I MUST do five rounds on it.
Yes, I made it! Four projects are done. Now I have to pick the skein and made it into a ball. Then I can dream over it and figure out what it wants to be.
