I do not know about you, but I really like my dentist. She is a lovely lady, who truly cares about the state of my teeth. So I like her very much. It is the drilling that I detest. But since I am a big girl in more ways than one, and the pain in my tooth was getting too much for me, I have finally went to take care of my tooth. That was about a week and a half ago. Now, it is impossible to talk with the mouth full of dental drill. So, to distract myself I started playing with imaginary yarn. And that is how I came up with a new skirt for DD#3. I wanted something lacy, but not too “holy”, something with the texture to it. And no seams. Also I wanted something that would not have too many repeats in a hard to remember pattern. I really wanted it to be a semi-automatic knitting. So I am knitting the skirt with six veges, using the good old “Feather and Fan” in the round. Here is what I have so far:
If everything goes well it should be done tomorrow. I will have to show this skirt to my dentist. In honor of her drill I am calling this skirt AcciDental.
